After some weeks of farming Mags and Gruul for nice items; Rage felt it was ready for "The Big Boys" of SSC.....and the mighty Rage downed Hydross, said to be among the harder challenges in this place, in the 5th try on that very first evening......

This just shows that this guild is packed with skillful players and extremely competent raidleading (I bow to Ironclad, Soulista and Kragdan) ;-)

Not many guilds are capabale of downing a boss in SSC on the first night; but, then again; not many guilds are quite as Rage!

It was a quiet evening when Rage decided to visit the Old World of WoW...

We were 15 people who decided to wreak havoc in AQ20, and we spent about 2 hours emptying this place completely....among these 15 ppl there were some n00bs below level 70, and these ppl had problems keeping up with the pace set by the more "experienced" players....Trex "The Lucky" was again....Lucky...with a brand new Epic Chest dropping from Moam.

After AQ20 was deserted; we were 10 ppl who wanted to check in by Onyxia to pay her a visit...2 lvl 70s cleared the trashmobs before we other ppl reached Wyrmbog (times are changing), and Onyxia herself bit the dust within 9 minutes....Roguetanking of Onyxia is great fun; and a perfect way to shorten the CD of vanish. And, btw, who pulled those 30 whelps simultaneously? Byz? Ezer? Coop?

Onyxia dropped nothing of interest; so we decided to enter Molten Core....9 Ragemembers and some ppl we dont know, but wanted to join us, left Ironforge and set sights of the Blackrock Spire.... We were a bit wary about the challenge, but when a certain rogue, Ezer and Ztrike were able to down those 2 first Fire Giants alone, we understood that this would be fun...It was chaotic, it was fun and it was like a walk in the park....Ezer, masterpuller of Rage, did his job providing us with mobs to carnage; and within 7 minutes we encountered Gehennas....Ezer pulled him, together with 2 fireguards and 1 Felswarn.-... and Gehennas died within 3 minutes ... Rogueloot! After this Azareal and Ezer pulled the next room, literally speaking; leaving just Garr to be defeated.......

Garrs 8 "kids" died fast....somehow.... and Garr himself provided us with a chance to do dps like mad...and again....Rogueloot!!! Finally Slit got his Nightslayer Cap, while the others fought over some Drillborer Disks and Aura Hammers (or something)...

After Garr we went back; and suddenly Ezer had managed to pull 4 Fireguards, 2 Fire Giants and 28 Fire Spawns....and we downed them...LOL...at lvl 60 this would have wiped 40 players...but not the mighty Rage!!! After this we decided to go back to IF to cool down, and brag.....Man, we are tough!!!

I want to congratulate you all with yesterdays display in both Gruuls Lair and Magtheridons Lair.

The effort shown by the attendants and raidleaders was tremendous; and seeing both bosses go down on first try was awesome.

We have spent some time in learning how to whoop Mags, but seeing how easy this fight is when things are in place, makes me very optimistic when looking on to our next target : Serpentshrine Caverns.

Most of the tanking gear have been crafted for SSC, after a great effort by the members; and hopefully the Lurker and the Tidewalker will feel our wrath very soon!

I must admit that the fight I took part in last night in Mags Lair, is one of the best I have ever attended in my career as rogue... ;-)

I also feel that beating Mags is what separates the elite guilds from the other groups in this game; and yes....now WE are in that special tier of guilds!
